Minimum qualification: First class graduates in Science or Commerce or First Class Diploma holders in Mechanical or Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering from Recognised University State Board of Technical Education.
Candidates should have worked in Purchase or Stores Department in a computerized environment for a minimum period of 2 years in any Public Limited manufacturing industry. Experience in Etendering desirable. 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
1. The cut off date for deciding the maximum permissible age as per eligibility criteria shall be 28/2/2015 Experience shown must be the minimum relevant experience for the function,
after obtaining necessary qualification (post qualification experience) including ‘on the job’
training period.
2. Wherever specific relevant experience has been prescribed, please note that applications
not fulfilling this specific criterion will not be considered. 

HOW TO APPLY:

2. Eligible applicants would be required to apply online (on the internet) through the link ’Apply online’ on MRPL’s.

3. Candidates belonging to General and OBC category need to pay an application fee of Rs.
350/-(Rupees Three hundred and fifty only). Payment can be made online in”STATE BANK
COLLECT”. The procedure for payment will appear after filling the on line application.
Candidate can also make payment through challan by selecting other payment mode in
“STATE BANK COLLECT “ and take print of the challan and pay cash in any of the State
Bank of India branch.

4. After making payment of application fee through Online / Challan, candidates are required
to go back to the online application and fill the details of payment and take print of the final
Acknowledgement Form.

5. Bank Commission charges (for online/challan) shall be borne by the candidates.

6. SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen are exempted from paying application fee.

7. After filling online application, candidates are required to send the Acknowledgement Slip
affixed with passport size photograph & Proof of payment of Application Fee (in case of
challan payment), along with photo copies of Date of birth proof, Educational Certificates
(Semester-wise / year-wise marks cards and Degree / Diploma certificates), Experience
certificates for each experience claimed clearly mentioning the start and end date of experience (for the current employment, joining date proof and latest pay slip will be sufficient) and Caste certificate wherever applicable. Documents may be submitted in a closed envelope, super scribing the envelope with the position applied for, within the last date for submission of documents, by Post / Courier only to the Sr.Manager (HR-Recruitment), Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals

Kannada District, Karnataka state. Documents sent by Email or hand delivery will
not be considered.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Candidates forwarding incomplete documents like only Acknowledgement Slip without other documents such as educational, caste, experience certificates, challan copy will not be considered and no communication will be entertained whatsoever with the candidate. Each 3 experience claimed by the candidate should be supported by a certificate issued by the Employer clearly mentioning the start and end date of service with the Employer.
2. All the qualifications specified above should be recognized by Board of Technical Education / Recognized University. Candidates with higher qualification, to note that only the specified qualification will be considered and no extra weightage will be given either during selection or later in service.
3. SC/ST/PWD Candidates called for Written Test / Interview if any, shall be reimbursed 2nd
class Rail / Bus fare from their correspondence address in India on production of rail / bus
ticket and self attested documents in support of eligibility such as Date of Birth proof, caste
certificate and qualification marks cards / certificates along with originals for verification.
PWD candidates will be reimbursed travel cost as above, for an attendant, wherever
applicable, as per Govt. guidelines. However, local travel cost, if any, shall be borne by the
candidates.
4. The minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination in case of workmen should be 60% for General and 40% for SC/ST/PWD. Percentage of marks should be aggregate of all years/semesters i.e., total marks obtained over total maximum marks of all
years/semesters.
5. Age Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years PWD – 10 years and Ex-Servicemen (EXSM) - as per
Govt. directives.
6. Location of the job is at Mangalore for positions at Sl. No. 1 & 2. However, employees are
liable to be transferred to any place in India or abroad, within the same Organization, one
of the group companies of ONGC or any other Organization.
7. Working knowledge of Hindi is desirable.
8. Preference will be given to candidates with NCC / National Apprentice Training Certificate.
9. Preference will be given for candidates from Land Losers and candidates from
Karnataka domicile.
10. Recruitment of Minority as per applicable Government guidelines.
11. Allowances and perquisites shall be as admissible for the grade.
12. In case large numbers of applications are received, Management reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards/ criteria.
13. The eligible candidates selected as Workmen / Assistants shall be placed in W2 grade.
14. Apart from the basic pay as specified in the scale of pay, the selected candidates as
Workmen / Assistant would also entitle for DA & Perks as per the rules of the company.
15. Eligible candidates shall be required to appear for a written test. Candidates who qualify in the written test shall be interviewed.
16. Requests for change of category once declared in the application will not be
entertained.
17. Experience in PSU/ Private needs to be specified.
